New American Girl dolls

Yay!! There are two new MAG dolls!! Have you seen them? Oh, they're adorable!!

Jewelry for my dolls

This was my attempt to make jewelry for my dolls. Okay, I know it's not that good, but I had fun making these necklaces and this bracelet with their names on them. I sure wish to improve my skills... haha

I have an excuse though. I really didn't have the things that I needed to make better jewelry. Anyway it's nice to create something. 

These were made of plastic pearl necklace and a kind of a brilliant cardboard from a Barbie doll box.

I have this project of making a necklace or a bracelet for all of my dolls with their names on it. I'll try to find some jewelry making supplies. I think they'll look so cute with those!

Testing my new camera.

Today I was testing my new camera (Nokia N8). The pictures didn't turn out so well because I have a lot to learn. It has a photo editor which I think is so cool. I've made a few shoots using it and I plan do a lot more later. So far this is what I've got:

Marie-Grace's accessories

I realized that Marie-Grace's accessories are just so cute!!

• A wide-brimmed hat with ribbons to tie under her chin blocks the sun from her fair skin
• A heart locket to wear around her neck
• A lacy fan provides a breeze on a warm day

My favorite item is the heart necklace! It's soooo cute!! I also like the hat and the lacy fan.

Cécile and Marie-Grace

Ok, I was looking again at the new historical girl dolls and I'm having another opinion about them. Actually I think they are cute.

I love the fact that Marie-Grace does not have the same blue eyes as Elizabeth's and she also has a different color hair. Her eyes are like blue-green and her hair is not blond, but a very light brown. And her face mold is beautiful if you look carefully.

I'm also starting to like Cécile's green eyes and her pretty hair. I suppose I'll like those new AG dolls whenever I see more of her real pictures. I don't like AG photos because I think they don't show the dolls really well. I saw a few pictures of them on Ebay, and that's why I have a second opinion about them. Now I think they look really cute! Haha... I knew it would happen... ;D

 

Emily and the raspberry glasses.

Today Hazel Emily asked me if she could try those raspberry glasses. It was quite a surprise because they fit her so well! Now I feel like she'll be using them very often. :D

Oh, I think she looks great in this green uniform! It just matches her eyes perfectly!!

Ruthie in pink.

Today is a beautiful Sunday and I felt like taking some photos of my dolls. I particularly liked the shots of Ruthie in pink. She looks adorable to me. This is my Salua Solaris (Ruthie Smithens).

 

I think she looks great in purple too, and that's the color of her meet dress. But I was so happy to see her shinning in pink! :D

MAG # 55 and MAG # 24 - Comparisons

Some people say MAG 55 and MAG 24 look alike. I also thought they did, but after I got MAG 55 I don't think so anymore. I know they have some things in common, but that doesn't make they look so similar.

The first difference I want to point out is the hair. They seem to have the same amount of hair, but MAG 55's hair is thinner and feels more like a real hair. 

MAG 55's hair is curlier, and MAG 24's hair is wavier.

MAG 55 has rosier lips than any other AG doll. She's unique. 

 

MAG 55 has feather eyebrows, and MAG 24 has linear eyebrows. 

 

They both have freckles and are very beautiful dolls! I had MAG # 24, and now I'm very happy I got MAG # 55. She's so pretty, and they're both so much worth having!

Cécile and Marie-Grace

Finally AG released the two new historical girls. I don't know about you, but I was kind of disappointed with them. At first I had the impression I was seeing Sonali and Elizabeth again. I also didn't like their outfits too much. I don't like either those underwears or those boots.

I liked the fact that Marie-Grace has a new face mold. I wish AG would have more face mold options. Marie-Grace's hair is cute, but looks a lot like Elizabeth's. Well, at least it's a beautiful hair. For those who didn't get the chance to buy Elizabeth, this would be a great opportunity. That's not my case because I already have Elizabeth, so I expected to see a different kind of doll.

Cécile is cute, but not as much as she could be. I think she would look a lot better with amber eyes instead of those green eyes, that I think didn't fit her quite well. Maybe we can get used to it. But I sure think amber eyes would look much better for her. I like her hair though, it's pretty.

I would love to see somebody's "real" picture of them because AG's photos are not as accurate sometimes. I'm still hoping Marie-Grace's eyes are not the same blue color as Elizabeth's. They seem a bit different to me, but it may be the lightning, so I don't know. Wish they were of a different blue. Let's see.

Raspberry glasses

Those are so cute!! And I think they look so nice on her!!

MAG # 55

Yay!! She's here!! And she's really adorable!! Her eye color, hair and rosy lips are such a striking combination!

I named her Yarmilla Wallis. That was my husband's idea and I did love it. :D

She's even better than I thought! To me her hair is definitely not like # 27's. MAG # 55's hair is softer and curlier. And also has a more beautiful color, in my opinion, because it looks more natural. 

Her lips are really rosy, and that's amazing!! She's got so much personality!!

Wow!! I'm impressed!! I want to make a review on her, but I don't have time tonight. I'll make it as soon as I can. ;)
